Welcome to the VCBS news home page. We try to do a number of things to pass along covered bridge news from within Vermont and across the country. As stories come up and events happen, we provide short accounts of them. We are fortunate to have a network of covered bridge enthusiasts that share news from their states.
Over the years we have accumulated a tremendous amonut of material documenting bridge histories, rehabilitations, tours, technical information, and much more. Much of this information is available in the Archived News and Notes Section.
From the beginning the VCBS has published a quarterly newsletter called The Bridger. Issues of the newsletter dating back to the yeart 2000 can be found here.
