Welcome to the Covered Bridge Collections home page.
We are fortunate to have people that share their appreciation of covered bridges with us. From time to time we get contributions from people ranging from poems, short stories, rememberances, and other written forms celebrating covered bridges.
For those of you that might be interested, the Archives section of the website contains contributions dating back to the beginnings of the Vermont Covered Bridge Society.
For those of you that are interested in the technical side of covered bridges, here is a section that collects technical information about them. This section is very much under construction. We will add any and all technical information we have regarding Vermont's covered bridges. The initial content will consist of the most recent inspection reports and photos courtesy of VTRANS. Thanks to Peter Legge from the UK for providing the links to this information.
If you have some technical information you would like to have added to the collection, please email it to: Vermont Covered Bridge Society. Your contributions will be appreciated and proper credit assigned when posted.

There are many people that make it a life goal to visit all of Vermont's historical covered bridges. We are providing this vehicle to aid in that quest. We are also providing a social media group on Facebook for people to post their visits in real time. Join the goup and start your adventure here: 100 Covered Bridge Club.
