The original Fuller Bridge was inspected in 1993 and found to have many rotten and cracked structural members. Here is the summarized 1993 inspection report: The Fuller Covered Bridge Inspection Report In Brief.

In June 1997 a flood caused more damage that required the installation of a steel girder to support the upstream truss. The bridge was replaced with a new covered bridge in 2000 by Blow & Cote of Morrisville, Vermomt. Only the roof was able to be salvaged from the original bridge fabric.
