LYNDON — The Sanborn Covered Bridge now rests in pieces beside the Passumpsic River on August 25, 2024. The removal work was done by Vermot Heavy Timber of Huntington, Vermont

The bridge sustained significant damage during the flooding during July. See the earlier articles published by the Caledonian Record for the details.

Our thanks to VCBS member and Education Committee chair Jeanne Beaudry and her husband Marcel for showing us the current condition of the bridge.
