Chiselville Covered Bridge Damaged

June 15, 2021: Phil Jordan has made us aware that the Chiselville Covered Bridge, in Sunderland, has been damaged. Details are still sketchy but here is what Phil is reporting:
Hello Steve & Joe:
The Chiselville covered bridge was badly damaged last weekend by an oversize southbound vehicle. The Sunderland town clerk indicated that the Vermont State Police have been in contact with the town road crew and are apparently investigating this incident. I will provide more details, if & when they are available. (Two pix are attached.)
