Waggoner's Mill Covered Bridge Destroyed

October 22, 2021: James Crouse has passed along this information about the Waggoner's Mill Covered Bridge. Jenna Wise of Penn Live is reporting that the bridge was destroyed by fire on Thursday afternoon.

At this point officials are conducting an arson investigation.

According to the Covered Spans of Yesteryear website, the Waggoner's Mill Covered Bridge was built in 1889 with a Burr truss. It crossed Bixler Run in Perry county, PA.
