March 23, 2021 Leaburg, Oregon - Joshua Mattson has shared a video of two of Oregon's covered bridges. The video was made by his father-in-law using a drone.
Bert French has captured the Neal Lane (WGN 37-10-07) and the Horse Creek (WGN 37-1014) covered bridges in the video.
The Neal Lane is a single-span Kingpost truss bridge that crosses Myrtle Creek in Myrtle Creek in Douglas County. It was built in 1929 and measures 42 feet in length.
The Horse Creek is a single-span Howe truss bridge that crosses Horse Creek in Myrtle Creek in Douglas County. It was built in 1930 and relocated in 1990. It measures 105 feet in length and currently serves as a pedestrian bridge. This bridge began life in a different location in McKenzie.
