March 15, 2021: Staff Writer Carri Graham of The Times Leader in Martins Ferry, Ohio is reporting that the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has reversed their decision concerning their funding of the Knowlton Covered Bridge project.
Carri reports that the ODOT officials had originally decided to not accept the county's 5% match of the almost $1 million grant. The 5% amount was the cost of the lumber for the project. Since then, ODOT officials have reconsidered that decisiond and will provide the full amount of the funding.
