January 23, 2020: Anita Larkin Ford has passed along this information from The Theodore Burr Covered Bridge Society of PA Facebook page. The Pleasantville Covered Bridge in Berks County was spared from damage today. Only the "Headache bar" was damaged instead. At this point the road is closed.

The World Guide to Covered Bridges lists the bridge as a single span Burr Arch. It was built in 1852 and measures 139 feet in length. The bridge crosses Manatawny Creek in Oley Township.

Here is the TBCBS of PA Facebook post showing pictures of the damage. Photos by Fred Moll.
