July 22, 2020: Anita Larkin Ford has passed along this information from the YourErie.com website. Briam Wilk is reporting that pieces of the salvaged remains of the Gudgeonville Covered Bridge are now available for free until it is all gone.

The bridge was lost to arson in November 2008. Details of the bridge loss can be found here: Gudgeonville Covered Bridge Burned -Arsonist Sought.
The Covered Spans of Yesteryear website lists the bridge as a Multiple King single-span that once crossed the Elk Creek in Erie County. It was built in 1868 by William Sherman. The bridge length was either 72 or 86 feet.
