January 27, 2020: James Crouse has made us aware of some "good" covered bridge news!
According to an article published in the Oxford Observer by Halie Barger, the "Miami University Architecture Department received the $2,600 grant to pay Brian Andrews, an adjunct professor and architect, to draw up the details of the Black Covered Bridge". The grant has been provided by the W.E. Smith Family Charitable Trust.
The grant is intended to document the bridge along with two other buildings "with large scale drawings". According to Maimi associate professor Ben Jacks, the drawings will be made "for posterity and also so we could publish it on the website".
