Police: Saco River Bridge damaged by truck

 

April 20, 2020 Anita Larkin Ford has passed along this information from the Conway Daily Sun website. Daymond Steer is reporting that the Saco River Covered Bridge has been damaged by an oversized tractor trailer on April 16th.

The incident was reported and followed up by police who found the vehicle shortly afterwards. The driver was following his GPS for directions.

NHDOT reports that the damage appears to be minor. The trucking company will be covering the cost of the damages.
