November 23, 2020: Anita Larkin Ford has passed along this information from the KTTN/KGOZ website. Alisa Nelson is reporting that the US Postal Service will be issuing a new stamp to commerate Missouri's bicentennial in 2021. On August 10,2021, Missouri will celebrate its 200 year anniversary.
The stamp will feature the Bollinger Mill State Historic site depicting the mill and the Burfordville Covered Bridge.

The World Guide to Covered Bridges lists the Burfordville Covered Bridge as a single span Howe truss. It was built in 1868 and measures 140 feet in length. The bridge crosses the Whitewater River in Cape Girardeau county.
