August 14, 2020 Bob Susnjara from the Daily Herald website is reporting that reconstruction of the Long Grove Bridge is complete and the bridge is open again.
A happy group of Long Grove residents celebrated the reopening of the bridge on Friday afternoon. They were finally able to cross the bridge again. Some were even treated to a hay wagon ride across the span. It had taken two years and around $1 million dollars to repair the damaged bridge.

The Long Grove Bridge (WGN 13-49-A) is located in Long Grove in Lake County. The 40 foot stringer bridge was built in 1972 and crosses the Buffalo Creek.
