July 15, 2020 Anita Larkin Ford has passed along this information from the Lake County News-Sun website. Emily K. Coleman is reporting that reconstruction of the Long Grove is "nearing completion".
Village President Bill Jacob says that the bridge work is expected to be completed by mid August. The work has been funded from a number of sources including grants, insurance money, donations, and all sorts of fundraisers.

The Long Grove Bridge (WGN 13-49-A) is located in Long Grove in Lake County. The 40 foot stringer bridge was built in 1972 and crosses the Buffalo Creek.
