New Honey Run CB Gets Financial Boost

 

July 17, 2020: Anita Larkin Ford has passed along this information from the KRCR News website. Kelli Saam and Jerry Olenyn are reporting that the Honey Run Covered Bridge reconstruction project has received a large donation.

According to the associations Facebook page, a donation of $225,000 was received from the SPSG consortium and the Chico Rotary Foundation. They currently have raised around $1 million. A total of around $3 millon will be needed to complete the three phase project. They are hoping to have the project completed in 2022.

The Honey Run Covered Bridge (05-04-01x) was destroyed in November 2018 during the Camp Fire: Honey Run Covered Bridge Lost To Fire.
