As in the October Part 1 report, many aspects of the rehabilitation and restoration of the covered bridge across the South Yuba River at Bridgeport, CA are in process here:
Drone camera re-cap of status at the end of October and a birds-eye view of the intensity of activity in the construction yard,
carpenters making final preparations on the four bolster beams and the associated stagger-step portions of the bottom chords; doing final dry-fit assembly of the four framed buttress bridge truss terminations; and chiseling wind brace notches into the four tie beams that will hold the up- and down-river framed buttress posts together
Empire Mine SHP volunteer blacksmiths straightening original tension rods to be re-used in the truss terminus wind brace assemblies,
placing concrete in the south abutment front, rear and wing walls.
