November 7, 2019: James Crouse has forwarded an article about the formal reopening of the Shieldstown Covered Bridge.
The bridge, located in Jackson County, has been in the process of restoration since 2015.
Originally built in 1876, the two span 331 foot long Burr arch bridge crosses the East Fork of the White River.
