Good News for Indiana County, PA Bridges

 

Ed Patterson, Director of Indiana County Parks & Trails sends us good news about Indiana County, PA continuing to take good care of its bridges.

Trusal Bridge (PA-32-03) and Harmon Bridge (PA-32-04) are receiving new metal roofs. Work will start next week and will also include replacement of decayed purlins (roof slats). Ed believes the existing metal roofs were installed in the mid-1960s.

The Indiana County Parks and Trails department assumed responsibility for the county's covered bridges in 2007.
