October 10, 2013 - The Covered Bridge community will soon have a new book detailing the covered bridges of America. The book is titled "America's Covered Bridges: Practical Crossings - Nostalgic Icons is written by Terry Miller and Ronald Knapp. The photographer for the book is A. Chester Ong. The book will be availble through Amazon.com on March 25, 2014.
The authors look at over 100 covered bridges across America including bridges from Vermont, New York, Alabama, Indiana and California. Terry Miller and Ronald Knapp tell the stories of these bridges. They look at the stories of how they were built, the technology that was developed and used to build them and the builders themselves.
