Hi Tom, On TV they presented a nice wooden covered bridge today. It is said to be one of the oldest (1781) and biggest in Austria.

The CB can be found in the province of the Tyrol (region of Eastern Tyrol) and is colloquially called "Punbrugge", located below Castle Heinfels. Until 1944, all public traffic on Pustertaler Street crossing the village of Panzendorf was led over the bridge. Today it is considered a landmark and hence no longer in use.
