Emily's Bridge Damaged

Stowe, Vermont, September 24 - Sad news, said Ed Rhodes, VCBS Bridge-watch Chair for the Stowe Area. "Stowe's Gold Brook Bridge (Emily's) suffered damage at the hands of a much too large vehicle the other day. Damage was done to both gable ends. As one end was crushed inward, [the perpetrator] kept going and pulled the other end out, busting roof supports and end boards. "I will send photos and more details as available."
