March 26, 2003 - The bridge is the Old Toll Bridge across the Connecticut River in Hartford, Conn. It had a cupola across the center spans. The Hartford Covered Bridge was built in 1818 by Ithiel Town of New Haven, Conn. and Isaac Damon of Northhampton, Mass. The bridge was 974 feet long. The Bridge burned on May 17th 1895.
