The Keatings Visit North Carolina & Pennsylvania

 

Hi Folks,

Liz and I went to North Carolina on Thanksgiving and Christmas week to visit our daughter, son-in-law and three grandchildren. They moved to Statesville,NC in October.

While we were there we took a day trip to the Pisgah bridge. I have attached photos of the bridge abutment, side view and the portal.

On the way home we detoured to Indiana County, Pa to visit three bridges that we have never seen: Thomas Ford, Trusal and Harmon.

I have attached four pictures of Thomas Ford, both portals, interior, and one showing the abutment. I have also attached pictures of Trusal, Harmon and explanatory signs giving their history.
