The Hall Bridge is a fine reproduction of a span that once served Barber Park, the town's celebrated amusement park and picnic grove. Today it serves unpaved Paradise Hill Road leading to Bellows Falls village forest.
Covered Bridge builder Milton Graton and Sons, using traditional methods and materials, constructed an authentic replacement in 1982. They paid careful attention to detail and even maintained the original portal width of twelve feet, which is the narrowest in the state.
The Covered Spans of Yesteryear website notes that the original Hall bridge (45-13-07x) was lost in 1980 when it collapsed due to an overloaded truck.
