Sanderson Bridge Damaged by 18-Wheeler Following GPS Directions

 

 

January 8, 2019: The driver of an 18-wheeler followed his GPS directions straight into the Sanderson bridge causing considerable damage. Following the accident the bridge was deemed "drivable" but will require repair as some structural members were damaged.

Thanks to a local resident the police were able to find the driver. There is no current timetable for the reapir of the bridge.
