Bucks County working to save covered bridges

October 9, 2019: According to a story published in the Ambler Gazette, Bucks County Pennsylvania is planning on spending $2.5 million on a project to repair seven covered bridges in the county. The project is expected to be completed within the next 15 months and is being funded by fees collected from vehicle registrations.

The bridges include the Frankenfield (WGN 38-09-09), Mood's (WGN 38-09-07#2), Van Sant (WGN 38-09-03), Pine Valley (WGN 38-09-12), Knechts (WGN 38-09-02), Cabin Run (WGN 38-09-10), and Uhlerstown (WGN 38-09-08) Covered Bridges.
