March 1, 2021: Anita Larkin Ford has passed along this information about the Keefer's Station Covered Bridge. Justin Strawser of The Daily Item is reporting that the bridge was vandalized by graffiti artists.
Joe Klebon, Northumberland County Commissioner, is calling for an end to this activity. As soon as the graffiti is covered over it reappears again. There are reports of prty activity in the bridge as well as camp fires being started inside the bridge. There have also been charges brought against some juveniles for some damage.

According to the Covered Spans of Yesteryear website, the Keefer's Station Covered Bridge was built in 1888 with a Burr truss.
