March 14, 2021 - Freeman Kelly of Freeman Kelly Dronography has shared a drone video of the remains of the Mt. Zion Covered Bridge.

The Covered Spans of Yesteryear website notes that the Mount Zion covered bridge was a two-span Burr truss was built in 1871 to cross Beech Fork. The was measured 211 feet long and was built by William P. and Henry J. Barnes. It was also known as the Beech Fork or Mooresville Covered Bridge. It was lost in a fire on the evening of March 9, 2021.
