February 10, 2020: Anita Larkin Ford has passed along this information about the South Perkasie Covered Bridge Project website.

Perkasie Borough, the Perkasie Historical Society, and the Bucks County Covered Bridge Society are all partnering on South Perkasie Covered Bridge Museum Project.

There are a number of issues with the bridge that need to be addressed if it is to survive. Fundraising efforts are underway to support the fund the restoration. The goal is to raise $100,000 by March 1st.

The South Perkasie bridge is 98 feet long and currently crosses dry land in Lenape Park. It was built in 1832 with a Town lattice. The bridge was moved from it's original location in 1958.
