Subject: 2021 NSPCB Calendar Photos
Calling all covered bridge photographers:
As we near the end of January, I want to remind you that we are looking for photos for the 2021 NSPCB calendar. The deadline is the end of February and so far only a few entries have been submitted.
The next calendar will focus on truss designs. Nearly every structure listed in the US and Canadian portions of the World Guide is a potential calendar candidate. It doesn’t need to be the “perfect” representation of the particular truss type as there are many variations of the standard designs. Although actual page designs may vary, the typical entry will include a full page exterior photo of the bridge with an inset showing the interior truss. When available, historic photos may also be included as insets. Ideal photo candidates will not be tightly cropped around the bridge, but include some space around it where the insets could be placed without detracting from the overall scene.
Submissions can be sent to me by email or included on a CD. If you wish to contribute them through a cloud service such as Dropbox, please let me know.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
