Saco River Bridge damaged in Hit and Run Incident

 

September 1, 2020: Anita Larkin Ford has passed along this information from the Conway Daily Sun website. Daymond Steer is reporting that the Saco River Covered Bridge has been damaged again by a "hit and run driver".

According to police there was a report of a tractor-trailer driving thru the bridge on Saturday, August 29th. At this point the truck has not been found and the investigation continues.

NHDOT reports that the damage appears to be minor and limited to a knee brace and some trim.
