Grange City Covered Bridge - Work Begins

June 30, 2020 - Anita Larkin Ford has passed along this information from the Maysville Online website. Mary Ann Kearns is reporting that work has begun on the Grange City Covered Bridge.

The current work is to reinforce the damaged abutment with sandbags. A steel beasm will be installed later this week.

The Grange City Covered Bridge (WGN 17-35-05), also known as the Hillsboro Covered Bridge, in Fleming County crosses the Fox Creek. The 80 foot bridge was built aroung 1867 with a Multiple Kingpost structure.
