Grange City Covered Bridge - Phase One

July 2, 2020 - Scott Wagner has passed along this information from the KYTC Highway District Nine Facebook page. They are sharing that phase one work is under way on the Grange City Covered Bridge.

According to their Facebook post, work has been done to install a steel beam under the bridge to prevent it from any further movement. The next phase will address making the bridge upright.

The Grange City Covered Bridge (WGN 17-35-05), also known as the Hillsboro Covered Bridge, in Fleming County crosses the Fox Creek. The 80 foot bridge was built aroung 1867 with a Multiple Kingpost structure.
