Jackson Covered Bridge Damage Update

January 29, 2020: James Crouse provides this update on the Jackson Covered Bridge from the Parke County Sentinel. This information was provided by Larry Bemis.

"Here's the front page story on it in today's edition. Haven't talked to Randy at the Highway Department about costs; he or Janie will have a more exact figure when repairs are done, which should be later this week.

"Dodson was only charged with Class B misdemeanor leaving the scene of a property damage accident...180 days in jail and $1,000 fine maximum. Judge can order him to pay full restitution and probably will waive the fine (not court costs which I think are $186)."
