Pioneer Village Irishman Covered Bridge Video

December 8, 2020: Bill Caswell has passed along this YouTube video featuring the Irishman's Covered Bridge and Greg McDuffee. Greg is currently the vice president of the Indiana Covered Bridge Society.

Repairs were recently completed and the bridge was reopend this past fall.

The Irishman or Fowler Park Covered Bridge (WGN 14-84-01) is located in Linton Township in Vigo County. The bridge was built in either 1845 or 1867 to cross the Honey Creek. It was moved to it's present location in 1971 and now crosses a pond. It is 75 feet long and uses a Modified Queen truss.
