September 25, 2020 - Anita Larkin Ford has shared this news from an article on the WTVY.com website in Dothan. Justin Walker is reporting on the reopening of the Coheelee Creek Covered Bridge.
The bridge was damaged two years ago during Hurricane Michael. The total cost of the repair project was $150,000. The scope of work included tree removal and repairs to the bridge roof and siding.
The Coheelee Creek Covered Bridge, also known as the Hilton Covered Bridge, was built in 1891 and crosses the Coheelee Creek. The modified Queen - King truss bridge is 120 feet long.
