Coral Springs Romantic Shelter to be Moved?

October 19, 2020: Anita Larkin Ford has passed along this article from the TAPinto.net website. Leon Fooksman is reporting on the possible moving of the Coral Springs "Covered Bridge".

After being damaged "six times in the past 10 years", the vice mayor is going to propose the idea of moving the bridge to a safer location. Most recently the bridge was damaged again on September 24 "by a truck towing an excavator".

The Coral Springs Romantic Shelter was built in 1964 across a canal and is 40 feet long.
