December 6, 2011 - These are indeed hard times for bridges. Scott Bridge is still standing -- Hurray! And I did want to follow-up with a few photos now that flood issues in other areas have settled down somewhat.
The following photos show some areas of concern.
What the normal arch (with steel rods) looks
like on the Northwest lateral side.
Boards kicked out
Exterior dangling rope shows why boards were removed,
exposing the trusses to the weather.
The inverted arch (with rods) on the Southwest
lateral side

Ropes attached to the underside of the bridge on a slack rod
that seems to have a "bend" in it.
(There is a 2nd rod that also has a bend.)
The only place of weathering on the floor -- whether due
to removed side boards or previous
leak in the roof we don't know.
