I have looked up the covered bridge pictures and I believe it is this one: Number: I-17-01-06, Location: Merano-Lagundo, River: Adige (Etsch), Name: (Meran- Algund) Spans: 2, Length: 64 m (210 ft), Date: 1970, Type: Howe (western).

Hi Tom, I am back in Austria and hereby want to send you some pictures of the covered bridge I spotted in Bozen (Italian: Bolzano), South Tyrol.
The bridge spans over the river "Adige" and is called "A Bridge for Peace". I don't know an exact date though. Best wishes from Vienna - Gregor Wenda
