When the bridge crossing Lord's Creek was replaced, it was moved in 1958 over the Black River to serve the LaBlond family farm. One of Vermont's last Paddleford truss bridges, it stands today the picture of utter neglect.
The Covered Spans of Yesteryear website notes that "The bridge is named for the waterway it originally spanned. In 1957, its abutments were washed out and it was bypassed by a new concrete and steel bridge. The abandoned bridge was moved to its present location by dairy farmer Joseph LeBlond to provide access to his farm property. Since being relocated several repairs have been made to the flooring and the floor beams. Its sides and portals are uncovered."
